Download MP3 · 3.4 MBNagasaki’s official tourism portal lists 15 Ampharos Poké Lid destinations and a stamp rally running from August 27, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Choose a mainland or island area that fits your trip rather than treating the whole prefecture as one walk.

A familiar Pokémon, a different place each time
There is something appealing about finding the same Pokémon in changing surroundings. The character becomes a thread through the journey; the place provides the surprise. For an Ampharos fan, a Nagasaki trip can begin with a cover and grow into a day shaped by the town around it.
Ampharos serves as Nagasaki’s future-support Pokémon. A prefectural report records a June 28, 2026 anniversary event and the unveiling of donations for five more municipalities. An unveiling is one part of a project’s story; it should not be mistaken for the date every cover reached the pavement.
Fifteen destinations, several kinds of journey
The tourism portal identifies five summer additions: Isahaya Station’s east exit, Fureaidokoro Tsushima, Abunze Visitor Center in Goto, Oshima Ohashi Park in Saikai, and Hasami Yakimono Park. Those locations show why a little geographic planning matters.
Begin with where you are staying and how you intend to travel. A station-area stop can fit around an arrival or departure. An island visit needs its own transport plan and enough time to enjoy the destination once you get there. The number of covers you can see is less important than choosing a journey that remains enjoyable between them.
Use the official location record for the exact cover position. A venue name is a helpful starting point, but it is not a substitute for a placement map when you arrive. Save the Japanese place name as well if you expect to ask for help locally.
Joining the official rally
The Nagasaki Tourism Federation’s campaign combines Poké Lids and sightseeing destinations. Its smartphone missions use location information, with photo-based verification for the cover missions. Follow the organizer’s entry link and instructions before starting.
The campaign is separate from Manhole Quest and has its own participation and reward rules. A photograph taken for your personal album or an app collection should not be assumed to complete an official rally mission. If you want a reward, read the current requirement before moving on to the next place.
The campaign page carries changing reward information. Check it rather than building a trip around a particular item being available: a pleasant visit should still feel worthwhile if a giveaway has run out.
Make time for the place around the lid
After photographing the cover, turn the camera away from the pavement for a moment. What made this spot worth choosing? A visit becomes richer when you keep a small record of the setting alongside the character art.
For families, let everyone choose something to notice: a color, a shape, a background detail. For a solo trip, try writing a sentence about each discovery. These small rituals make separate stops feel like a journey rather than a checklist.
The rally’s late-August opening is a campaign date, not evidence that its covers were installed then. This guide was checked on October 3; official locations, participation instructions and transport notices remain the references for your own travel day.
