Iwate Town is the only town in Japan that has three prefectures, districts, and towns. Agriculture and livestock farming have been active since ancient times, and in addition to cabbage, which boasts the largest production in Tohoku, the production of vegetables such as daikon radish, long yam, and green peppers is among the top in the prefecture. It is also known as a town of sculpture, and is a culturally rich town, with the Ishigami-Oka Museum of Art, where you can feel close to art, and the roadside station, a place of relaxation, located next to each other.
