English audio transcript

Kokubunji’s covers tell a particularly varied story, moving from rockets and railways to local vegetables and city anniversaries. Pencil Rocket designs appear alongside other subjects associated with the city’s history and identity. The collection rewards comparison: each piece focuses on a different theme, while the set brings those themes into a broader portrait of Kokubunji.
